Positive: This property was magical. You truly cannot hear the road, which is amazing in itself. The water was peaceful, just all around a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay again!

We had another wonderful stay at the pirate cottage in Cedar Point. We were so lucky to be there for a once-in-a-lifetime snowstorm on the coast! Given how unusual a weather event like this is at the beach, we couldn’t have asked for better communication from management. We didn’t have to ask for anything. We sat outside while the snow fell, looking at the beautiful view across the water, warm and cozy next to our fire with our dog at our feet. The result: winter magic! We made our next reservation before we even left.

Wish we had more time to play with the kayaks and fishing equipment. My oldest son had fun catching shrimp with the casting bucket though. It was such a short stay, but we enjoyed the extras that were offered. The coffee bar was a nice touch too. Host was very responsive to our questions and needs as well!
